I currently deliver telephone support and Skype/teams contact across the UK and this can make the service more convenient and easier to arrange specific times to suit your situation and availability. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of any personal therapy and is a crucial element that underpins a professional and effective relationship. The therapy process is important but so is the relationship between the therapist and yourself. The process of CBT is crucial but it is practiced in a personal, friendly and supportive manner with collaboration being at the heart of the therapy. Every session will have a plan or agenda at the start so you will know what the session will cover ,and you will be key to generating this plan. Sometimes out of session work will need to take place by yourself trying things out, taking records of your thoughts and feelings or taking on tasks designed to improve your skill and address worries.I have an up to date membership of the Scottish Protecting Vulnerable groups scheme.
